'Heartwood' is a 3-minute 2D animated film that I worked as Lead Background Artist for during my third year at university, with a team of 5 others. I took all of these backgrounds from rough storyboards to layouts and paintings, unless otherwise stated. I additionally helped with animation cleanup, colour, and visual development, creating concept art, colour scripts, designing props and establishing the film's style.
